Who I am and What I do

Hello Friends!
I have been an avid papercrafter for over 15 years. Actually, probably even longer than that. I can remember even as a little girl falling in love with crayons and markers and that gooey messy glitter glue! I’ve always had an interest in art, but I was terrible at drawing, painting and my clay pot was horrendous! But I still colored, and painted and traded in clay for play doh. Then I was introduced to rubber stamping! THIS, my friends, is when my love (or addiction) began!  I don’t need to know how to draw or paint — I can just color and cut and create a never ending array of designs! And that’s how my passion began!
As many of you probably have (and if you still do — STOP!) I have spent oodles of money in those “retail craft stores” buying paper and cardstock and stickers to make my projects. But I had no idea how to put them together or what to do with many of the items I bought once I got home. Have you ever tried to ask someone in a “retail craft store” how to emboss something? Chances are, they have no clue. They can only tell you in what aisle something is located
Then something magical happened! I was introduced to a company called Stampin’ Up! And that’s when my projects went from wonky to WOW! Yes, I attended one of those “home parties” and trust me, I do NOT like home parties, but it was the best party ever! We cut and colored and laughed and made new friends.. and I’m pretty sure we had cheese and crackers too (which is always nice.) That’s when I stopped visiting those “retail craft stores” and started buying top quality products from a demonstrator. Now, I’m not saying this because I am a demonstrator, I am telling you that our products ARE top notch. Not to mention, so many of our products are coordinated to work with one another and our color line crosses over to everything we offer. That means, no guessing if something matches or not. It will!
I’m passionate about our products which is one of the many reasons why I became a demonstrator. I know there are so many “demonstrators” out there trying to sell you things but are they promoting their products because they are passionate about what they do? Are they selling clothes because they are passionate about what you wear? Are they selling make up because they are passionate about how you look? Are they selling you eyelashes because they truly want you to have long luscious lashes? If so, that’s someone you want to purchase from because if they are passionate about what they do & what they offer then they should believe in the quality of their product.
I am passionate about what I do. I can name a million reasons why I love Stampin’ Up! Starting with the quality of the products I can offer, to the support I receive from my mentors, the impeccable customer service given when I call the home office and as an added bonus…the friendships I’ve made with wonderfully artistic people.
I believe we all have an inner artist. And whether that art is painting, or playing an instrument or rubber stamping…when we create, we are doing so from the essence of our soul. When you receive a handmade gift you know that person put a lot of love and incredible amounts of time into what it is that they created for you. So when I create something for all of the people I love and adore in my life, I will only use the best products available.
As a demonstrator I have access (and you do too!) to an array of products to help you make meaningful projects. But I also will offer you classes and even one on one “training” (which I like to call play time) as well. I didn’t join Stampin’ Up! as a “get rich quick” endeavor. I joined the Stampin’ Up! family because I believe in their products, I love the art of rubber stamping, I love the friendships I’ve made and will continue to make and most of all I love hearing “You made that??!!”
If you’ve ever had an interest in rubber stamping I encourage you to contact me so we can set up a “play date”, follow me for inkspiration, attend some of my stamp-a-stacks where you can meet new friends (I may even have cheese and crackers too!) and spend some time with your inner essence, creating something for someone! And if you are so inclined, you can order from my online store 24/7 (it’s true! I’ve ordered at 3am once!) and you can be assured I will be there to help you with any of your creative needs.
