An American Summer

  I’m celebrating this 4^th of July with an extended weekend. Today my son is in camp, my hubby unfortunately had to work which leaves me home.. alone..surrounded by quiet and craft supplies. Hmmmm.. what should I get into. I do have quite a few cards I need to make for upcoming birthdays as well as a few thank you cards (they are my favorite to make. It means there are good people in my life that deserve a special thanks) and I need to prep for my next few classes.

I wanted to share with you this lovely card I whipped up this morning. It reminds me of an American summer. The red, white and blue.. and the beach! If I could celebrate our Independence in any way I want it would be right on the beach, fireworks over the water and sipping on ice cold sweet tea.

You will see quite a few projects with the bundle because I am in love with this chair (if you haven’t already noticed) This Colorful Season bundle has something for every season and by simply using patriotic colors I made it into a festive 4^th of July project. The possibilities in papercrafting are endless.
